Environmental Policy
To achieve a sustainable level of competitiveness and position on the market management of Teknia Uhersky Brod determined quality and environmental awareness to be the key factors of success. Our relationship with customers, suppliers, other third parties and the effort to perfect all our employees are our passport to success.
We gather that quality and environmental awareness are:
- responsibility of each employee and each area within the company,
- the basis of our future.
We perceive quality to be expectation of the market, which means customers, suppliers and employees. In addition to that, we understand that environmental awareness results in reduction of the influence which we have on the environment as a result of our activities.
Teknia Uhersky Brod focuses on the fact that we would like our existence and activities to be based on offering products and services which:
- comply with defined requirements and application needs,
- meet arranged standards and specifications,
- satisfy competitive and sustainable price strategy,
- are safe and environment-friendly.
Further, we deem to be important to guarantee:
- committed attitude to fault prevention which has priority over seeking faults,
- meeting required legislation of the environment and also all other internal requirements,
- using processes, procedures and materials which prevent, reduce or check pollution pledging to prevent it,
- pledge to constantly improve effectiveness and productivity of the system of quality management and environment,
- return of capital when aspects of total quality and zero faults are met,
- set and reviewed goals which emphasize, respect and meet internal and external requirements of customers as well as they minimize source consumption and influence on the environment.
Environmental Aspects
We have determined three important environmental aspects:
1. Restriction of the occurrence of the aspect when emissions are produced in painting shop
2. Restriction of the occurrence of the aspect when emissions and vapours are produced in the course of fluoridation
3. Restriction of the occurrence of the aspect when sewage water and water sediments are produced
Within established Environmental Management System (EMS) in Teknia Uhersky Brod, plc., impacts of our activities on the environment (so called environmental aspects according to the norm ISO 14001) in the form of Register of Environmental Aspects have been identified. All environmental aspects are regularly assessed from the point of view of their seriousness and the most significant ones are solved as a matter of priority in the form of EMS goals for a relevant year. For managing other aspects we have worked out and kept appropriate documented procedures ensuring meeting legal and other requirements related to them.
Company management of Teknia Uhersky Brod takes responsibility for quality and environmental management and it determines above mentioned principles to be priority goals which all the employees are supposed to perform. Moreover, company management of Teknia Uhersky Brod hereby undertakes that it will provide appropriate sources to guarantee adequate establishment of quality and environmental policy. This policy will be regularly communicated to all employees.
